List of products by brand Juan Piñero

Juan Piñero seems that he was not in a hurry nor did he take profitability into account when he decided to rehabilitate the old winery instead of making apartments in that place. His goal was to make authentic sherry wines, which restored the shine to the most emblematic DO of our country.

Passion over Reason

In 1992, Juan Piñero took over an old winery from the 1920s, in the Bajo de Sanlúcar neighborhood. He decided to continue the work, to which the winery was dedicated: Bodega de Vinos de Jerez. In 2013, Juan Piñero decided to hire Ramiro Ibáñez, a fantastic winemaker from the area. He begins to create and sell his own brands: Manzanilla Maruja, is his symbol. Moving away from industrial Jerez, the Juan Piñero brand began with a firm step, to conquer the purists. Juan Piñero bought 1,800 fully-wine American oak casks, each with a capacity of 30 @ (500 liters) in 1993. Later, he bought 400 chamomile solera casks of equal capacity, as well as musts from Superior Jerez, from the Cuadrado vineyards in 1993.

Improving every day

In 2000, they bought from the Pedro Domecq, SA winery firm, their winery, boots and their manzanilla MARUJA, which they transferred to the facilities on Trasbolsa street to complete it, as it is a winery with greater suitability for the MARUJA chamomile aging. Spanish sherry is one of the best wines you can try, visit Bodegas Andalucia and try it
