José Antonio Acosta, is an agricultural technical engineer and Pedro Cano is an architect. Both are friends of the childhood and have been studying in the same school, in the same institute and now also share a common project: the management of the Bodegas Tierra Savia, situated in the Natural Park of the North Mountain range of Seville. This project derive from the devotion that both feel for the nature and for the region in which they have been raised.

The name Tierra Savia, refers not only to the sap that runs through the vineyards, but also to the interest they have in recovering the wisdom and tradition of the past, since they control the entire process from planting, pruning, harvesting, until the bottle comes out, and they do it to obtain a product of the highest quality.

They work following the principles of ecological agriculture, they manage the spontaneous vegetation cover by means of cattle, with sheep, to go giving the cut to the grass always before the budding of the vine. They use the sheep's own compost, since they have a philosophy that "everything that comes out goes in, only the wine comes out, everything else goes back to the ground", to increase its richness.

They use nests-houses, to raise the insect predators themselves, which can affect the crop. Bodegas Tierra Savia, their idea is not to enrich themselves, but to reach a balance, because they already consider themselves rich because they live where they live and they consider that a quality product is not only the product but the entire environment from which it comes.
