IPA Sherry Cask, fresh hopped craft beer with two hops and brewed with 5 malts, 100% natural ingredients, no additives, colorants or preservatives. Not filtered or clarified.
Traditional English beer whose historical origin is directly related to that of some sherries when they were sent by ship to the East Indies colonies between the 18th and 19th centuries. The solution to avoid its deterioration and bacterial contamination was to raise the alcohol level and its hop content. Thus, we are looking at a craft beer, highly fermented, 7% vol of alcohol and somewhat more bitter than a normal beer. Of course, matured in Oloroso sherry casks, as then.
Style: IPA (Indian Pale Ale) Original
Bitterness: 5/10.
Alcoholic strength: 7% Vol.
Tasting note: Golden in color, slightly orange, quite translucent, with citrus nuances on the nose, refreshing and floral. Tropical nuances, peach, mango and grape. Oloroso notes due to its maturation in the boot.
Pairing: It is perfect with very spicy and seasoned foods. Asian sweet and sour dishes, ceviches, marinades.
