Preparation: Natural products and a traditional recipe
The elaboration of our products strictly follows the traditional recipe that the grandmother of the founder of Tierra Palaciega taught him to cook. It is the traditional recipe with which the elderly women of Los Palacios in summer time made fried tomatoes with the tomatoes that their relatives brought them from the field.
The process is artisan, making fried tomato, tomato jam and homemade ratatouille by hand over low heat, with a cooking time of between three hours and three and a half hours, achieving a slow and adequate reduction of the raw material, and reaching obtain only one 365 g jar per kilo and three hundred and fifty grams of peeled natural tomato.
From our fields to your table
The raw material with which we make our products comes from our own farm, we harvest tomatoes of varieties that put flavor before mass production and are harvested by hand at their optimum point of maturity.
Our tomatoes are of the smooth round type, they are not industrial varieties, which makes us obtain a unique product.
They have the Los Palacios Collective Tomato Brand and Global Gap certificate, which certifies good agricultural practices, concern for the environment and consumer welfare, providing a quality mark to our products.
