Cortijo de Jara Roble

€7.26

The youngest of the aged wines presented by Cortijo de Jara, an agricultural family business in the outskirts of Jerez where they produce Mediterranean wines in their huge estate of olive trees and vineyards.

Cortijo de Jara Roble is a red wine. This Cadiz wine is made with three different types of grapes, Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah, which are selected by hand, then vinified separately and aged for 6 months in American oak barrels.

It is a coupage with the main varieties grown on the farm and a minimum aging in barrel. A wine with a very good value for money that has already received important mentions and awards in contests such as the Tempranillos to the world, organized by the Federation of Winemakers' Associations of Spain.

Bright cherry color and violet reflections that denote his youth. On the nose, its fruity aromas include red fruit such as strawberry or raspberry, which are combined with the aromas of more mature fruits such as plum, more typical of the Merlot variety. You can perceive balsamic notes accompanied by toasted wood. Fresh on the palate, with pleasant acidity, and presence of somewhat sweet tannins. Balanced acidity and good aftertaste.

Ideal for tapas, rice, grilled meats and cheeses.
