TThe BF Maestro wine is a sweet wine from Málaga made from a single grape variety, the Muscatel de Alejandría grape, known as the queen of Malaga grapes.
After harvesting, the grapes are left to dry in the sun to obtain the highest concentration of sugars. This process is called "sunning”.
These types of 'master wines' are created with the addition of wine alcohol in specific amounts to the fresh grape must before fermentation starts so that fermentation is slow and incomplete.
It is a wine can be ideally paired with desserts and ice creams, pates, foie and full fat cheeses.
You can share this when serving this wine: The vines used to make this wine are located on such steep terrain that the use of mules are necessary, as was traditional, when harvesting the grapes. This also means that the production is limited to 200 bottles after every harvest.
