Xaldenil is a wine from Setenil de las Bodegas, a village in the Sierra de Cadiz, which is traditionally closely linked to viticulture. It is a wine of height with tradition, terroir and passion, made with the grape varieties Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, that after deciding the optimum point of maturation, effect the stalking and the subsequent barrelling in Bodegas Ibarguen de Prado del Rey (another village of the sierra of Cádiz).
It has different nuances of cherry, violets, lantana, red fruits and a place in open mouth, with a cherry colour and violet edging that has a high layer and generous tear. This perfumed wine, fresh and voluminous and of direct but tasty acidity, is properly a wine of author with elegance and personality.
You can tell this while serving: The translation of the name Xaldenil is "Bank of the Entertainment", an old name of Setenil. Its label and logo represents a house-cave next to the river, a reference to a very personal and elegant tribute that tells the story of a village.
