Finca Moncloa is a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon 44%, Syrah 36%, Tintilla de Rota 18% and Petit Verdot 2% grapes.

With Finca Moncloa, winery member of the association of Grandes Pagos de España, the highest quality has been sought from the beginning of the project. First, selecting the land between different plots with optimal microclimates for the cultivation of the vine and, later, selecting the varieties that could best be adapted to that terrain.

The farm is located in the province of Cádiz, in an area known by the elders of the place as "the land of the vineyards of Arcos". The vineyard is located on the road that joins the towns of Arcos de la Frontera with San José del Valle, approximately 1 km. away from the Guadalcacín reservoir.

González Byass also bets for the recovery of autochthonous varieties like the Tintilla de Rota that was in the process of disappearing.

The soil is clay-silty (45-50% clay, 25% -30% silt and 25% sand). The climate is temperate, with moderate rainfall and the soils are poor in organic matter, making this vineyard an ideal place for the production of high quality grapes.

Finca Moncloa comes from a Pago located in a unique enclave for its climate, terrain and varieties, which gives rise to expressive wines and great personality.

Finca Moncloa is a wine of medium high intensity, with a cherry tone and a persistent tear. It offers an intense aroma of ripe red and black fruits, with mineral, spicy notes (black pepper, clove, vanilla) and balsamic (eucalyptus, mint and black licorice). The palate is balanced, with good acidity and a slightly sweetish attack. It is a soft wine with a long body, soft tannins, with notes of fruit, spices, wood and roasted. Its end is long and persistent.

This wine, due to its structure, is perfect to accompany cold meats, poultry, cold cuts, spicy foods and powerful sauces, stews, red meats, game, lamb and grilled.

Made from the varieties of grapes: 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Syrah, 18% Tintilla de Rota, 2% Petit Verdot. Denomination of Origin V.T. Cádiz.

12 months in new and second-use American and French oak barrels.
