This is a wine that is produced completely and completely with the queen of the white grapes: the Chardonnay grape. Although the winery Huerta de Albalá is located in Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz), between the Sierra de Grazalema and the Bornos marsh.
Barbazul Blanco wine is a white wine made with the queen of white grapes: Chardonnay. However, the Huerta de Albalá winery is located in Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz), between the Sierra de Grazalema and the Bornos marsh, the grapes of this wine come from other properties, one of the most emblematic wineries in Jerez: Pago Balbaina, Which Vicente Tabener (owner of Huerta de Albalá) bought from Osborne, preserving experimental plots with other varieties of grapes, is precisely where the first white wine from the winery comes from: Barbazul Blanco.
To the taste it is tasty, sparkling, fresh and very fruity, is a mono-varietal that is realized without barrels. They resort to a totally manual practice for the grape harvest and once the clusters reach the cellar they are destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at a temperature of 12 degrees.
For this wine, Vicente Taberner (President and founder) and the whole team of Bodega Huerta de Albalá have managed to extract the terrain from Cadiz and, at the same time, the essence of the variety, obtaining an elegant and well structured wine.
