The Taberner wine is a red wine, made from 100% Syrah grapes and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. It is a wine from Cadiz.
This wine is 100% Syrah, aged 18 months in Allier French oak, which belongs to the Huerta de Albalá winery in Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz), whose estate is located between the Sierra de Grazalema and the Pantano de Bornos, where it has a special microclimate to the area, with hot days and cool nights, which help to maintain the acidity in the grape and to have a slow ripening. It is a wine with breadth, of an enveloping character, with body and volume, elegant, aromatic and with a long and persistent finish on the palate. The grapes, on the other hand, come from their own vineyards, are selected, harvested by hand and fermented at a controlled temperature at 80.6 º Fahrenheit in Allier French oak barrels, after which they are deposited in French oak barrels where 18 Months. It is necessary to clarify that this wine does not undergo any type of filtration. In previous vintages it has been a very awarded wine with very good scores like the 92 points in The Wine Advocate and 90 points in Wine Enthusiast in the vintage of 2005; 90 points again in The Wine Advocate in the vintage of 2006 and 90 points also in Stephen Tanzer in the vintage of 2007.
