Very pale yellow. In addition to yeast, its aroma and flavor remind almonds. Very dry on the palate. 93 points Wine Spectator.
The Almacenista (Storekeepers) are professionals or entrepreneurs who, for the sake of the wine culture, make their own wines with artisanal procedures in their small wineries, almost always familiar. Lustau selects the most exceptional ones and bottles them as they are extracted from their original soleras. A tribute to these artisans of Jerez, as important as anonymous in the past.
Aged in American oak boots, following the traditional system of Solera and Criaderas, in the humid and saline city of El Puerto de Santa María.
Pale straw color, full of "Flower" and aromas reminiscent of the sea breeze, with suggestions of iodine. Light, dry and spicy on the palate with a nut and persistent aftertaste.
Serve between 7 - 9ºC. Once opened, keep cold and consume in a few days to maintain freshness. Serve as an appetizer with Iberian ham, cheese, almonds or olives. Perfect with fresh fish, shellfish or oysters.
