Aged for 3 years in a selection of American oak boots that have contained Lustau Amontillado for many, many years.
Intense amber colored brandy. Notes of vanilla on the nose. Mouth is smooth and round, with a very good balance.
Brandy is a spirit drink with an alcoholic strength between 36 and 45 degrees, obtained from spirits and wine distillates and aged in oak vessels.
Brandy de Jerez differs from other brandies in that it has its own unique organoleptic characteristics, which are the result of its traditional production system, the characteristics of the wooden vessels in which it ages, and, naturally, its own climatic characteristics of the geographical area where it has its origin, the Marco de Jerez.
The importance of the wood used is particularly relevant in the aging process. Brandy de Jerez is aged in 500-liter capacity American oak barrels that, previously, must have been aged with some of the traditional types of Sherry (Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, etc.): these are the famous "boots" of Jerez.
