Marcelino Serrano Red Label wine is made from the vineyards that are two kilometers from Alcalá la Real (Jaén) is the Paraje del Cascante, part of the South Sierra region, where the vineyards and the cellar of the Marcelino Camacho family are located, a project that was born 35 years ago as a hobby of its owner to create a wine in a territory in which already in times of Arab domination were made wines. The hobby became the work of Marcelino Serrano who abandoned his profession as an electrician and immersed himself in the world of wine.
This wine remains 12 months in American oak barrels. In the tasting: dark cherry red in full view. With a garnet edge, clean and bright. The nose develops aromas of toasted character and sweet species, such as vanilla and cinnamon, resulting in a fresh set with good fruitiness, raspberries and blueberries, on a complex and fine leather background. In the mouth, powerful, very fleshy and structured and a very aromatic and spicy finish, elegant and powerful final bitterness. It is a ripe wine with a softness to the palate that will surprise you during your tasting. It can be taken at any time of the day, even in the appetizer. Serve at 16 degrees.
