The wine Privilegio de los Reyes Católicos is a red wine, which belongs to Bodegas Marcelino Serrano. This wine is made with the Syra grape, and is a wine from Jaén.
It is a small family winery, where Blanca María Serrano (oenologist) and her father Marcelino Serrano put all their love and effort into the world of wine.
The wine is a single-varietal Syrah aged for 12 months from the Entretorres vineyards, which are characterised by their clay-limestone soil. It is cherry red in colour with violet tones, with aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and blackberry, spices and lightly toasted. It is very tasty, balanced, with noble barrel tannins, silky and fresh sensation in the mouth. It is an elegant wine with personality.
Tell this when you serve it: The name is a tribute to the celebrations carried out on the occasion of the Reconquest of the city of Granada, where, as the story goes, the Catholic Monarchs Don Fernando and Doña Isabel were served wines from Alcalá la Real.
