We are talking about a sweet wine obtained from Muscat of Alexandria and Zalema grapes harvested late in the year to reach a high sweetness. In order to give it the citrus touch to orange, an unrepeatable mixture of different varieties of oranges has been selected. Once the peels have been dehydrated, they are macerated in alcohol and then the must is alcoholised.
The Mystery Orange wine is a sweet wine, which is obtained from two varieties of grapes, the Muscat of Alexandria and the Zalema grape. These grapes are harvested late and have a high sweetness. For its taste, different varieties of orange are mixed.
Although it is a sweet wine, its very high acidity completely cancels out the sweetness, bringing freshness and making it a silky and slightly sweet wine but not cloying.
Tell this when you serve it: Despite being an accompaniment to desserts and sweets, it is surprising when combined with other drinks such as aged rum and cola.
