Vermut Fernando de Castilla is made with the best olorosos and Pedro Ximénez from the winery, with a mix of 27 botanicals and macerated for months in the oloroso boots, has a soft start and a markedly bitter profile, where the orange peel stand out, cinnamon and wormwood.
At sight is dark mahogany color. With citrus aroma, wild with notes of aged sherry. The palate is sweet and slightly bitter with a soft finish.
It is perfect for pairing olives, cockles, toasted almonds.
Serve on ice with a slice or orange peel. Use in cocktails like Manhattan or Negroni.
You can tell this when serving: Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla receives his name in honor of this king, also called "El Santo", who conquered much of Andalusia in the thirteenth century and who discovered the exceptional qualities of soil and climate to produce wines of exceptional quality.
