Aged for 5 years in a great solera of 9 criaderas, Gabriela Manzanilla is one of the most reputable of all those produced at the mouth of the Guadalquivir.
Bodega Miguel Sánchez Ayala, a firm founded in 1798 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, makes this classic manzanilla from the fine palomino grapes that grow in its Las Cañas vineyard. This estate, belonging to La Balbaína, one of the best estates in the Jerez area, stands out for its white albariza soils that give the wine its characteristic mineral and salty touch.
After fermentation with autochthonous yeasts from the vineyard itself and the subsequent heading, the wine remained aging for 5 years in American oak casks, using the traditional criaderas and soleras systems.
Due to its freshness and persistence, Gabriela Manzanilla is the ideal choice for an aperitif and also to accompany all kinds of Iberian sausages, seafood, fish and rice.
