Atuna is the line of white wines that winemaker from Jerez Santiago Jordi is working in the area of Cadiz. The concept is based on the perfect harmony for a perfect tuna snack from Cadiz. For this reason he has tried to give it a spin and look for the unique nuances that help to enhance flavors and textures of both the wine and the dish to be tasted. Bottling the strength of the Cadiz sea, the personality of its aromas and the character of the marine fauna, an unparalleled experience of the land.
Atuna is based on an exuberant Chardonnay from a mature vineyard of about 25 years old and planted on Albariza land in the Jerez de la Frontera area. Aromatic, fruity wine with that typical Cádiz saline touch, perfect to accompany a gastronomy based on the sea, in the Atlantic Ocean.
Manual harvest, selected, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperature and controlled to achieve a wine with a strong Mediterranean personality. The wine remains at all times in contact with the fine laws of fermentation until its clarification and bottling.
Light yellow, bright with notes or greenish reflections, clean edging. Frank nose, characteristic of the variety with notes of tropical, exotic fruit, such as pineapple, mango, accompanied by fresh citrus touches. The palate is soft, refreshing, with good avidity, a new citrus aftertaste and a sensation of fresh fruit.
Appetizers, fish from the Bay of Cadiz and of course, tuna in all its elaborations.
Very limited production to 6500 bottles.
