Atuna is part of the range line of white wines from winemaker Jerez Santiago Jordi who is based in Cádiz region

Atuna is a white wine from Cádiz. The concept of the wine is based on the perfect harmony of a great tuna snack from Cádiz. This is why the winemaker has aimed to give it a twist to create unique tastes that help to enhance flavours and textures of both the wine and the dish. The wine bottles the power of the sea around Cádiz, the personality of its aromas, the character of its marine life, and the uniqueness of the land.

Atuna is based on an exuberant Chardonnay from a mature 25-year old vineyard of albariza (limestone) soil in the Jerez de la Frontera area. An aromatic, fruity wine with that typical Cádiz saline touch, perfect to accompany a gastronomy based on Atlantic Ocean.

The grapes are harvested and selected manually, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks controlled at a low temperature to create a wine with a strong Mediterranean personality.

On tasting, we can appreciate the pale yellow colour, bright with greenish hints and a clean edge. On the nose we can appreciate a variety of tropical and exotic fruit notes, such as pineapple, mango, accompanied by fresh citrus touches. In the mouth, its flavour is smooth, refreshing, with good acidity, a citrus aftertaste and a sensation of fresh fruit.

It goes well with appetisers, fish from Cádiz Bay, and of course, tuna in all the ways it is prepared.

A strictly limited production of just 6500 bottles.
