ARX

ARX comes from vineyard plot No.1 of Syrah grapes, plot No.2 of Tintilla de Rota and plot No.10 of Petit Verdot. All of them have a Northeast orientation, under the influence of the Levante winds and on very steep slopes of  where the grape clusters are well-shaded and ventilated for a perfect maturation.

The harvest is done manually and at night, to take advantage of the low temperatures. To make the wine we carry out a cold pre-fermentation maceration for four days to preserve the colour, aroma and flavour of the grapes, fermenting the varieties separately for approximately 20 to 25 days.

ARX is an elegant, structured wine with a marked acidity and soft tannins that fill the mouth with intensity and leave a long and pleasant memory. A wine born in front of the Sierra de Grazalema touched by the breeze of two seas and with an unmistakable British accent.

In appearance it is attractive with a deep and bright cherry red colour.

On the nose it is honest and direct.The first primary notes are of fresh plums with hints of citrus, then hints from the ageing with light notes of roasted cocoa. There is a perfect harmony that culminates with a mineral touch. In the mouth it is brash with lots of fruit and freshness. It fills the mouth with good intensity, slowly imparting its pleasant flavour. Its superb structure leaves a long and pleasant memory.
