Voladeros

Voladeros

€29.00

Voladeros wine is a product that is part of the Golden Age of the wines of Malaga and although it stopped being made more than 200 years ago, this has not prevented the winery and viticulturist from Victoria Victoria Ordóñez to rescue and recover it after hard work of research and search of the original varieties. It is a white wine made from the Pedro Ximénez grape variety.

The first harvest of dry barrel wine Voladeros left the winery in November 2016. It is a very innovative wine; Voladeros is the first Mountain Wine that has been produced for more than two centuries.

With this wine, the winery wants to convey to the consumer the value of a Malaga wine heritage, unique for its age (over 100 years), landscape, tradition, origin and extraordinary quality.

You can tell this when serving: Marca Voladeros takes its name from the popular expression of Malaga that designates the precipices and cuttings that abound in our mountains: "Volaeros". It has chosen its most recognizable form, which also appears as a place name in the cartography of the National Geographic Institute.

The illustration of the label faithfully reproduces an engraving by Isidore Laurent from 1800 that represents the bay of Malaga and the Montes de Málaga in the background
