After the success of Pajarete cheese, the Holgado family offers us the production of an organic and artisanal wine, from from the land of Cádiz. Made with care and in limited editions, the Hermanos Holgado wine collection has a select selection of grapes from the Palomino dehesa vineyard, in the heart of the Alcornocales Park, where the aromas and the natural environment are reflected in its delicate flavors.

Framed in the heart of the Alcornocales Park, the Dehesa Palomino vineyard presents particular conditions for raising the grapes strong>. Its natural setting, in the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz and miles from civilization, provides a character to the vineyards, surprising the visitor with the views covered by the wind currents from the passage from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean.

History and current events

Hermanos Holgado is a family business based in Villamartín, in the province of Cádiz. Founded in 1985, the company is dedicated to the production of artisanal cheeses and organic wines.

In the field of wine, Hermanos Holgado has a collection of three single-varietal references: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. All of them are made with grapes from the Dehesa Palomino vineyard, located in the heart of the Alcornocales Natural Park.

The Dehesa Palomino vineyard

The Dehesa Palomino vineyard has exceptional conditions for growing vines. The Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and warm summers, as well as the sandy and calcareous soil, give the grapes a unique character.

Wine making

Hermanos Holgado wines are made in an artisanal way, following the principles of organic farming. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in the winery using traditional methods.
