The Castle of Canena became a fortress of the order of Calatrava in the Reconquista, until the year 1538, when it was Mr. Francisco de los Cobos, secretary of Charles V, acquired it, transforming it into a Castle Palace and housing the emperor. It was declared a National Monument in 1931 and was later restored.
The oil that has been the protagonist of our culture, for 3,000 years, the olive groves located in the Alto Guadalquivir Valley, between the Sierras de Cazorla and Mágina and an irrigated farm , from which we collect the olives, with which we make Extra Virgin Oil, of the highest quality from varieties such as Picual, Arbequina and Royal.
