History of Barbadillo

Winery located on the left bank of the Guadalquivir, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), where the Barbadillo family bottled their first chamomile in the 19th century. Since then Barbadillo, as familiar as it is centenary, has not stopped growing since 1821.

What started out as a winery producing manzanilla, sherry and brandies, has become a group of great international projection. In addition to developing new products within its geographical area, it has incorporated wineries in other Denominations of Origin such as Bodegas y Viñedos Vega Real in the D.O. Ribera del Duero and Bodega Pirineros in the D.O. Somontano.

At present Barbadillo enjoys a range of wineries still growing. Barbadillo owes its long history of success to a firm committed to innovation and professionalism, values ​​that, in turn, augur a future of constant expansion. Currently, Barbadillo is present in more than 50 markets, among which are the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, and the United States and continues its expansion.
