A Craft Beer for Spain

In recent years, craft beers have had a great boom in the international market, and Spain has undoubtedly been no exception.

The ease with which we bundle up to go for a beer or the new brands that emerge every day throughout our territory, demonstrate the exponential growth that various brands of craft beer have had in the country.

But not only that, far from popular knowledge, these innovative creations can even bring benefits for many consumers, from helping with constipation problems (thanks to its soluble fibers that improve digestion) to avoiding heart attacks.

Yes, avoiding heart attacks, as you will see craft beer helps raise HDL levels (what many of us know as good cholesterol) and moderate consumption of this substance helps prevent the risk of heart attacks and cardiovascular problems.

The growth of craft beers in surrounding countries follows a global trend that has as a reference the revolution of the sector in the United States.

The phenomenon known as craft began to be generated in North America in the early eighties, however it was not until 2010 and 2012 that this movement hatched bringing craft beer to Spain with greater force and impact.

And the fact is that the consumption of craft beer is becoming increasingly popular in Spain, hundreds of entrepreneurs are looking every day to innovate in flavors and smells to offer products of excellent quality to its users.

Craft beers offer us endless variations, unique flavors that adapt to the tastes of each person, as if there were a beer for everyone in the world.

And yes, I make that statement as if we were talking about the love of our lives and that platonic conception of finding our soul mate, not with the purpose of idealizing the perfect beer, but to demonstrate that in the world of craft beers there is always one for everyone.

Spain has not been unaffected by the flourishing of craft beer, generated over the last few years, as I mentioned earlier, first in the USA and then in Europe through countries such as the United Kingdom and Italy.

The truth is that before 2008 Spain had barely 20 craft breweries, while today it has at least 500 microbreweries producing more than 40 million liters per year.

This shows the enormous reception that craft beer has had in our country and its main quality I think would be the diversity of flavors that we can find.

Unique flavors that allow us to live moments with our loved ones, an afternoon of beers with friends or a meeting at home, to play or share special moments.

Wherever you are, whoever you are with, it is never a bad time for a good craft beer.

We take care of offering you a wide variety of products, in addition to our advice so that you find a beer that suits your tastes, a unique product that you will never forget.
