What is the Eva Cream Barbadillo wine?

The Eva Cream Barbadillo wine is a fortified liqueur wine, a blend of an oloroso and a Pedro Ximénez. Thus, with two good ingredients, Bodegas Barbadillo makes this fantastic Eva Cream, a sweet oloroso, very aromatic that is the perfect mid-morning or mid-afternoon aperitif, for example, with some simple toasted almonds.

Eva Cream Barbadillo winemaking process

Eva Cream is made by mixing or tipping a dry oloroso with approximately 5 years of oxidative aging with approximately 20% Pedro Ximénez wine, so that it reaches a residual sugar content of about 120 g/L. Finally, it is introduced into the Eva Cream solera for blending and aging for about six more years.
